Marcos is currently assigned to the Town of Cutler Bay Policing Unit. He started with the Miami-Dade Police Department in April of 2004 and worked as a Uniform Patrol Officer before being promoted to Sergeant in May of 2010. He is originally from Union City, NJ and moved to Miami to become a police officer. Marcos was privileged enough to have been able to take part in a very special program offered by the HPOA where he received a Master of Science in Leadership in August of 2010. He has served on the Board of Directors for the HPOA since January 2009 where he served as Secretary. In January 2011, Marcos was elected to Second Vice-President.  He enjoys being a part of this great organization because of what it does not only for its members but for many charities and people in need.
