Amy Alvarez, Secretary
Amy Alvarez is a full time student at Florida International University graduating this year with her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with ESOL endorsement. She started working for the HPOA as the office secretary in December of 2007. Amy has been able to organize all our paperwork, coordinate deliveries, purchase office supplies, send out flyers and important notices, and a variety of other things. She is always available to answer any questions or open the office doors for you to enjoy the facility. “It has been a privilege to work for the HPOA. Throughout the years I have been able to see what a great organization this is, from social events, to fundraisers, charity events, contributions, and most of all supporting those families who have either been injured or lost a love one in the line of duty.” Amy was born and raised in Miami, Florida and is proud of her Hispanic heritage. She has two great parents, a younger brother who is a nurse, and a younger sister who is a full time student and is studying to soon become a nurse as well.

Eileen Munoz, Secretary
Eileen Munoz was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She currently lives at home with both her parents, her older brother and her younger sister. Her mother was born in Cárdenas, Cuba and her father in Santiago de Cuba. Eileen is a full-time student at Florida International University seeking her Bachelors in Biology, planning to go into Pharmacy or Ophthalmology. Eileen just started working as office secretary for the HPOA in 2011 and is looking forward to helping out with whatever she can.
