William (Willy) Gonzalez is a 15 year veteran of the Miami-Dade Police Department and is a Police Lieutenant currently assigned to the Strategic Planning and Policing Bureau.  Although he was born in Chicago, he is very proud of his Hispanic heritage as both his parents are Cuban.  Willy is married and the proud father of two boys.  He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Lynn University and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Executive Leadership at Nova Southeastern University.
